This course is designed for people who have no experience with airbrushing and are wanting to just airbrush traditional graphic effects such as flames, stripes, bullet holes, ripped metal, wood grain, chrome, rust, chequered flags and water droplets.

This is a foundation program that teaches you to work with the full range of automotive paints, including Solids, Candies, Pearls, Metallics and Marbelisers. It also covers topics including surface preparation and health and safety; but not clear coating.

• No prior experience is required, complete beginners can attend this course.

Learn to create portraits using all the special effect paints, imagine creating a portrait using candies on metallics on a black base. This is one of four portraits you will create.

This is an advanced Major Project Course, where we help you every step of the way through painting a car bonnet, fridge door, motorcycle petrol tank etc and supply all materials.

Students that complete this course have the opportunity to enter their artworks in the most prestigious custom paint competition in Australia, held at the Canberra based Summernats in January. Entry to the competition is free and includes a free season pass to the Summernats.
